# MindType vs Now Up

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Now Up at 18.6 against MindType's 26.2. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindType sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Now Up sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
