# MindType vs Onifide

The clearest difference is update cadence: Onifide at every 3 days against MindType's monthly. Onifide also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindType sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Onifide sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindType ships an update monthly, Onifide every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
