# Xarra vs Folio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Folio at every 5 days against Xarra's every 3 weeks. Folio also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xarra sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Folio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Xarra ships an update every 3 weeks, Folio every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
