# Kept vs Trax

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trax at none against Kept's 7. Trax also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). Kept's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kept sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Trax asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Kept against 5.0 for Trax. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kept has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
