# Swing Sensei vs PureGolf+

The clearest difference is rating: Swing Sensei at 4.8 against PureGolf+'s 4.4. Swing Sensei also leads on ratings volume (584 vs 44). PureGolf+'s advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 63%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swing Sensei sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and PureGolf+ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swing Sensei holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swing Sensei has 584 ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Swing Sensei's written reviews are positive against 81% of PureGolf+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swing Sensei ships an update every 6 days, PureGolf+ every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
