# LostInNotes vs Mapable

The clearest difference is ads: LostInNotes at none against Mapable's shown. LostInNotes also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Mapable's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LostInNotes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $10.00 per month and Mapable sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LostInNotes ships an update every 2 weeks, Mapable every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
