# Trackside Stopwatch vs Stopwatch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trackside Stopwatch at every 2 weeks against Stopwatch's every 2 months. Stopwatch's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trackside Stopwatch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Stopwatch sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trackside Stopwatch ships an update every 2 weeks, Stopwatch every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
