# WorkPay vs Tip Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: WorkPay at none against Tip Tracker's shown. WorkPay also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Tip Tracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkPay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tip Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WorkPay ships an update every 3 weeks, Tip Tracker every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
