# WorkPay vs Tipstack

The clearest difference is device support: Tipstack at 3 against WorkPay's 1. Tipstack also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkPay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tipstack sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WorkPay ships an update every 3 weeks, Tipstack every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
