# Clack vs Nerve

The clearest difference is rating: Nerve at 4.9 against Clack's 4.0. Nerve also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 1). Clack's advantage is monetization model (paid vs subscription). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Nerve sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nerve holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerve has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Clack ships an update every 2 days, Nerve every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
