# Arc vs Sun

The clearest difference is device support: Sun at 4 against Arc's 2. Arc's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Sun sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Arc ships an update fortnightly, Sun every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
