# Doorpass vs HTML Viewer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Doorpass at none against HTML Viewer's 1. HTML Viewer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HTML Viewer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Doorpass asks for nothing beyond the download.

Doorpass ships an update every 3 months, HTML Viewer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
