# Moontra vs hellocetus

The clearest difference is ads: hellocetus at none against Moontra's shown. Moontra's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Moontra ships an update every 3 weeks, hellocetus monthly. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
