# Lanthano vs Animus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lanthano at every 3 days against Animus's every 6 weeks. Animus's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lanthano sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Animus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lanthano ships an update every 3 days, Animus every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
