# Boo vs Vela

The clearest difference is ads: Vela at none against Boo's shown. Vela also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.1). Boo's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boo sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Vela sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Boo ships an update every 3 days, Vela every 11 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
