# Get Kato vs MyScanner

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Get Kato at none against MyScanner's 3. Get Kato also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). MyScanner's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScanner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Get Kato asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Get Kato against 5.0 for MyScanner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScanner has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
