# Millrace vs The Daily Code

The clearest difference is ads: Millrace at none against The Daily Code's shown. The Daily Code's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Millrace sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and The Daily Code sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Millrace ships an update every 3 weeks, The Daily Code daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
