# My Next vs MicType

The clearest difference is update cadence: MicType at every 3 days against My Next's every 5 weeks. My Next's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Next sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and MicType sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Next ships an update every 5 weeks, MicType every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
