# Stitch Fiddle vs HookSnap

The clearest difference is rating: HookSnap at 5.0 against Stitch Fiddle's 3.6. HookSnap also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). Stitch Fiddle's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stitch Fiddle sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year and HookSnap sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HookSnap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stitch Fiddle has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stitch Fiddle ships an update every 9 days, HookSnap weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
