# Taskit vs Stepwise

The clearest difference is ads: Stepwise at none against Taskit's shown. Stepwise also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taskit sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Stepwise sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taskit ships an update every 2 weeks, Stepwise daily. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
