# SipherMail vs Thelemail

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Thelemail at 15.0 against SipherMail's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SipherMail sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Thelemail sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $30.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
