# Blockigo vs Gemz!

The clearest difference is ads: Blockigo at none against Gemz!'s shown. Blockigo also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Gemz!'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blockigo sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Gemz! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blockigo ships an update every 3 weeks, Gemz! every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
