# Forge vs SetRoster

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forge at every 3 weeks against SetRoster's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SetRoster sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forge ships an update every 3 weeks, SetRoster every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
