# MicroTrack vs Dotly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dotly at weekly against MicroTrack's fortnightly. Dotly also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MicroTrack sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Dotly sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MicroTrack ships an update fortnightly, Dotly weekly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
