# Rouse vs Sequence

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sequence at every 4 days against Rouse's monthly. Sequence also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rouse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Sequence sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rouse ships an update monthly, Sequence every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
