# Gastos vs Talkbooks

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Talkbooks at 15.1 against Gastos's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gastos sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Talkbooks sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
