# Hookset vs ProFish

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hookset at fortnightly against ProFish's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hookset sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ProFish sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hookset ships an update fortnightly, ProFish every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
