# Web Shield vs Nomoads

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nomoads at 75% against Web Shield's 0%. Nomoads also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 8). Web Shield's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Web Shield sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Nomoads sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Web Shield holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Web Shield's written reviews are positive against 75% of Nomoads's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
