# Brief WX vs EzFlight

The clearest difference is ads: Brief WX at none against EzFlight's shown. EzFlight's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brief WX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and EzFlight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brief WX ships an update every 2 months, EzFlight every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
