# SoberPal vs ProgressRx

The clearest difference is ads: SoberPal at none against ProgressRx's shown. ProgressRx's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoberPal sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and ProgressRx sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoberPal ships an update monthly, ProgressRx every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 8, 2026 respectively.
