# Friends vs Nylo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nylo at every 3 days against Friends's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Friends sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Nylo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Friends ships an update every 7 months, Nylo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
