# Rolebook vs Scrollrack

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scrollrack at weekly against Rolebook's every 2 months. Rolebook's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rolebook sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Scrollrack sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rolebook ships an update every 2 months, Scrollrack weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
