# RetroFTP vs MagicFTP

The clearest difference is ads: MagicFTP at none against RetroFTP's shown. RetroFTP's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RetroFTP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MagicFTP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
