# FlightDeck vs ARDAR

FlightDeck and ARDAR both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ARDAR's written reviews are positive against 18% of FlightDeck's. ARDAR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). FlightDeck's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 9) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price and rating there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlightDeck sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. ARDAR asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for FlightDeck against 4.6 for ARDAR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlightDeck has 1.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 18% of FlightDeck's written reviews are positive against 100% of ARDAR's.

FlightDeck ships an update every 4 days, ARDAR every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
