# Mori Tale vs GateShot

The clearest difference is ads: Mori Tale at none against GateShot's shown. Mori Tale also leads on ratings volume (260 vs 8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). GateShot's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mori Tale sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and GateShot sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GateShot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mori Tale has 260 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Mori Tale's written reviews are positive against 100% of GateShot's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
