# Synaptic Study vs Notit

The clearest difference is ads: Synaptic Study at none against Notit's shown. Notit's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Synaptic Study sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Notit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Synaptic Study ships an update weekly, Notit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
