# Read Fast vs FastRead

The clearest difference is update cadence: Read Fast at every 2 days against FastRead's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Read Fast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and FastRead sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Read Fast ships an update every 2 days, FastRead every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
