# Cloudless Notes vs Topmost

The clearest difference is update cadence: Topmost at every 3 days against Cloudless Notes's every 3 weeks. Topmost also leads on device support (5 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloudless Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Topmost sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cloudless Notes ships an update every 3 weeks, Topmost every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
