# PETACT vs MeinSchnuff

The clearest difference is update cadence: MeinSchnuff at every 4 days against PETACT's every 3 weeks. PETACT's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PETACT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and MeinSchnuff sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PETACT ships an update every 3 weeks, MeinSchnuff every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
