Know how much resin to mix before you open the bottles. ResinCalc turns a mold or a coating into a mix list: total volume, Part A and Part B in milliliters or grams, waste margin, batch count and cost — then times the pot life so the cup never cures before the pour. WHY MAKERS KEEP IT ON THE BENCH - Pick the shape (rectangle, round, hexagon, triangle, sphere, dome, oval, cone, coating layers and more), type the measurements in cm or inches, and get the answer in seconds. - Choose a resin from the built-in library and its density, mix ratio, pot life and cure time fill in for you. 55+ brands covered: ArtResin, TotalBoat, Pro Marine, MAS, Stone Coat, Alumilite, Ecopoxy, EPODEX, West System, Smooth-On, Let's Resin and more. Add your own resin with any ratio. - Work by volume or by weight — grams and ounces for the scale, milliliters and fluid ounces for the cups. - Add a waste margin so a stirred cup still fills the mold, and multiply by batches for production runs. - Start the pot-life timer from the result and get notified at five minutes, at one minute and when time is up, even with the phone in your pocket. Cure timers tell you when it is safe to demold. PRO: FOR BIGGER PROJECTS - Multi-mold batches: several molds, one mix. - Multi-layer coatings: seal, flood and top coats, each with its own thickness. - Pigment and mica amounts as a percentage of the mix. - Temperature compensation: pot life and cure time adjusted to your room. - Inventory: track what is left in each bottle and deduct every pour. - Save mold presets, keep unlimited history, organize projects and export PDF mix sheets to share with a client or a class. ResinCalc works in metric and imperial, on iPhone and iPad, in light and dark appearance.
