# SmartStake vs SquadSlips

SmartStake and SquadSlips both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SquadSlips's written reviews are positive against 50% of SmartStake's. SmartStake's advantage is ratings volume (47 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SquadSlips holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartStake has 47 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of SmartStake's written reviews are positive against 100% of SquadSlips's.
