# Lyrical vs Dynamic Lyrics

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dynamic Lyrics at 50% against Lyrical's 0%. Dynamic Lyrics also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Lyrical's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lyrical sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Dynamic Lyrics sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lyrical holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lyrical has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Lyrical's written reviews are positive against 50% of Dynamic Lyrics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lyrical ships an update monthly, Dynamic Lyrics weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
