# Him vs Viceless

The clearest difference is monetization model: Viceless at freemium against Him's subscription. Viceless also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Him sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Viceless sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Him holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 11 respectively.

Him ships an update every 5 weeks, Viceless fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
