# FolderCam vs TagShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: TagShot at every 2 days against FolderCam's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FolderCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TagShot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FolderCam ships an update fortnightly, TagShot every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
