# FolderCam vs FolderCam

The clearest difference is ads: FolderCam at none against FolderCam's shown. FolderCam's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FolderCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FolderCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FolderCam ships an update fortnightly, FolderCam every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
