# AWS Exam Prep vs Security+ Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: AWS Exam Prep at every 11 days against Security+ Pro's every 4 months. Security+ Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS Exam Prep sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Security+ Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AWS Exam Prep ships an update every 11 days, Security+ Pro every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
