# Klad vs Dossier

The clearest difference is update cadence: Klad at daily against Dossier's every 3 months. Klad also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Klad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dossier sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Klad ships an update daily, Dossier every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
