# WhatNext To vs ToolVault

The clearest difference is update cadence: ToolVault at every 6 days against WhatNext To's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WhatNext To sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and ToolVault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WhatNext To ships an update every 2 months, ToolVault every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
