# Lore Lineage vs troots

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lore Lineage at every 3 days against troots's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lore Lineage sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and troots sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lore Lineage ships an update every 3 days, troots every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
