# Folder Fort vs Chrona

The clearest difference is update cadence: Folder Fort at monthly against Chrona's every 3 months. Folder Fort also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folder Fort sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Chrona sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Folder Fort ships an update monthly, Chrona every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
